Author Guidelines

ROSE: Research on Organizational Sustainability and Employees is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that welcomes high-quality manuscripts in the fields of human resource management, organizational behavior, and sustainable business practices.

These guidelines ensure a smooth review process and maintain the quality and consistency of published articles.


1. Types of Manuscripts

ROSE accepts the following manuscript types:

  • Original Research Articles – Empirical or theoretical studies providing new insights.

  • Review Articles – Comprehensive reviews synthesizing existing research.

  • Case Studies – In-depth analyses of organizational practices or interventions.


2. Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English.

  • Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced throughout.

  • Include page numbers and line numbers for ease of review.

  • Manuscripts must include the following sections:

    1. Title Page – Title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author details.

    2. Abstract – 150–250 words summarizing the study.

    3. Keywords – 3–6 keywords representing the main topics.

    4. Introduction – Context, problem statement, and research objectives.

    5. Literature Review / Background – Relevant theories and prior research.

    6. Methodology – Study design, participants, procedures, and analysis methods.

    7. Results – Findings presented clearly with tables and figures if necessary.

    8. Discussion – Interpretation of results, implications, and limitations.

    9. Conclusion – Key takeaways and recommendations.

    10. References – Follow APA 7th Edition format.


3. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively.

  • Provide clear captions and source acknowledgments where applicable.

  • Submit images in high resolution (300 dpi) for clarity in online publication.


4. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must comply with research ethics for studies involving humans or animals.

  • Include a Declaration of Conflict of Interest.

  • Manuscripts must be original and not submitted elsewhere.


5. Submission Process

  1. Online Submission – Submit your manuscript via the ROSE Online Submission System.

  2. Peer Review – All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.

  3. Revision – Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewer feedback.

  4. Acceptance – Accepted articles proceed to copyediting, typesetting, and publication.


6. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • ROSE applies an Article Processing Charge for accepted articles.

7. Copyright and Open Access

  • All articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).

  • Authors retain copyright while granting ROSE the right to publish and distribute the work.
